I've noticed a few people say they have real problems starting these old thunderbolt I-6's. A couple of the posts have mentioned the speed of the starter. I can jump to the starter and test my cables and such but it is grinding pretty hard. On a car you put shims in to fix this sort of problem but how do you resolve it on these engines?<br /><br />Basic Info:<br /><br />1976 1150 115hp inline 6 2 stroke.
