I have a 87 model mariner 75 hp serial#oB130551 it has 7 wire setup red,red/white,blue,blue/white,2yellow,black im being told the part number is 398-832075A19 its a stator kit...what come's in the kit? they say thats the only way i can buy that stator...$338.95 (to much)thought maybe i could find a used one on this site. are maybe a new one without buying the kit. (3 CYL) please let me know if anyone can help thx,,,,,,

Usually buying and selling aren't allowed on this forum....I believe what they're selling you is a 'red stator kit'. Comes with additional parts they make you replace. There are aftermarket stators available that aren't kits. You can check with your locak independant repair shop, but the dealer won't get it that way for you.
