I have a 1994 Mercury 25hp on my Bass Tracker. <br />The motor runs fine when I first start it and go to where I'm off to. <br />After it sets in the hot sun not running for a few hours I start it and it will not idle and stalls in less I pull the choke out. It acts like it is not getting gas to the carb. <br />I have drained the fuel tank and got new fuel and cleaned the fuel filter. <br />Any ideas would be help full.
<br /><br />Does your engine act the same way the first time you start it, or do you just automatically pull the choke out? After the few hours when you seem to have the problems, and after you do pull the choke out, will it run correctly afterwards? If I let my engine sit for a few hours I have to choke it to get it started and running right. Just a thought.
