Honda what's the diff

I recently found that the 2005 Honda motors are on display at the boat shows but are not yet available in this country and will not be avail for another 1 or 2 months.<br />Does anyone know the diff between the 2004 9.9 and the 2005 9.9 and why are they not in this country yet?????<br />The Honda rep at the Miami boat show said they are much quieter but I can find nothing anywhere that backs that up.

THe 9.9 and 15 HP used to share the same block, not true on new engines. The 8 and 9.9 are the same and the new 15 and 20 HP share the same block. I haven't checked on the price but I am sure it also went up with the improvement.

According to Honda in Ga any motors in this country are 2004 motors becuase they told me they have not shipped any of the 2005 motors yet. You may have 2004 motors and not know it. The 2005's are supposed to be even quieter then the 2004's were
