1989 V mariner Marathon


It quit charging and i proceeded to do normal checks.


My question is . Is the rectifier located inside the sealed box with the voltage regulator.


I did the test on the three wires going into this box and it met the requirements to pass.

Could the regulator itself be bad and rectifier be good.

Does anyone know a test to do to check the regulator to make sure that is what it is before plopping down the 400 bucks for it.
