Four connections on the tach. Ground goes to the ground terminal of any other instrument or the ground buss. +12V from any 12V circuit thats active with the ignition switch ON. The light terminal can connect to the light terminal on any other instrument. The "Sense" terminal is the tach signal from the rectifier/regulator.
