NEED HELP FILLING OUTDRIVE FLUID

can someone tell me the proper way to fill the fluid in a alpha one out drive that i just had rebuilt? do you fill it from the vent hole or the drain hole on the bottom of the out drive? i have high performance oil but it only took about .75 of the quart and it was drained for a few weeeks thanks

You get the little pump thing (at the boat store)that goes into the bottle and has a hose end that screws into the drain hole.<br /><br />It should take over a quart till it runs out the vent screw hole.
