1990 mariner 50 hp- oily substance from top spark plug

I ran the boat hard all day, near the end of the day it appeared that the plugs were beginning to fowl, it would stall and i had a hard time starting back up.

One day later i took of the engine cowling and noticed oily material coming from the top spark plug. it was not very much (small drip) looking for ideas of what it could be...thanks

ps...the oil injection is still hooked up, should i disable it and mix my own oil?

If you see 'oily material' dripping around the sparkplug while it is installed, two things come to mind.Loose plugs,no gasket.

Buy new spakplugs,install and torque to 20 foot pounds.

Run and see what happens.

thanks...i just purchases new plugs...i believe that i did not tighten enough...
