1993 90Hp mariner 2 stroke -good?

Are these motors any good?

I like 'em tengals. Ive got the 40hp of the same year and it has been ultra-reliable and easy to work on. From what I have been told the Mariners from 1990-on are built by Merc. Essentially the same motor. I use only Merc service manual and p/n references. Identical as far as I can see. Prio to 1990, the Mariners were Japanese built and a completely different motor.
