i have a speedo that goes up to something rediculous, 80 or something, but this means that oir really doesn't recognise anything below 20 accurately, can i get another speedo guage that tops out at say 50 which will read lower down a bit more accurately and just re-calibrate the speedo sender?????? use the boat for wakeboarding, not flat out very often and certainly not at 80!! its a 97 18ft mariah with volvo 4.3gs if that makes a difference

Re: changing speedo

If your works off air pressure only, all you have to do is replace the gauge with one with a scale more to your liking. No need to calibrate anything.

If you want accuracy at low speeds try to find an Airguide brand adjustable speedometer from an older (up to about year 2000) ski boat. They don't make them any longer, but they are excellent at slower speeds.

Here's a white face 50 MPH one
