trigger test

I finally got a used trigger for my 1975 merc 650 3cyl. Is there a way to bench test to see if it is ok before I install it?<br /><br />Thanks!

I installed and it worked!!! But my belt broke <br />now! What is a good way to pull the fly wheel?

Either borrow a Merc puller or pay the dealer a few bucks to pull it. Seriously.<br /><br />When you fork over $35 for a little belt is REAL good time to ask. :D <br /><br />And grease the nipples on that distributor to prevent a repeat.<br /><br />-W
