Re: HP from serial #??

By the serial number is looks like it could be a 1969, 100hp or 125hp.

To determine which we need to know the carb number. The carbs on the 1000BP are KD-3A and on the 1000SS they're KC-10A or KC-14A.

On the 1250 they are KC-1A or KC-1B, or KC-2A. On the 1250BP they are KD-3A.

So, hope they ain't KD-3A. :D

Get back to us.

Chris.............

The only # onthe carbs is KD1B. This # is right in front on the flat surface of the carbs.

That makes it a 125 hp. Made in 1969. I just went through all the parts files and found it.

Chris............
