All engines with a vertical crank can puddle oil in the cylinders if they are allowed to sit at less than level. This is not usually a problem while running though. So that begs the ?.What is your application? If you are installed on a boat with a very steep transom, just do'nt trim it in all the way.

My motor is mounted on a Triton 25 ft Pontoon, the transom is very steep I also have a great deal of weight on back of boat,37 gal. fuel tank,4 batteries for night fishing and 24 volt trolling motor. I guess I was wrong in thinking it was designed to run completely tucked under. Thanks for any other ideas

There is no way this is anywhere near normal...no matter what the trim angle is. Take it back to the dealer asap.
