ive got leaky rivets on the floor and im considering removing the center seat. i also was wondering where to find rivets and thr aluminum ribs to a sears jon boat

Before you start drilling out the rivits. Are they just loose. Or have some worn out so bad that you now have holes with nothing in them?

If rivits are just leaking, hold a hammer on one side and hit other side with another hammer. Helps if you have a friend to hold one hammer unless you have really long arms. You can purchase new rivits at any industrial fastener supply or somewhere like McMaster-Carr.com. As far as the ribs, I think you will have a hard time getting replacements. You could try a company which manufactures aluminum boats. Good luckBob
