2 part question 50hp mercury

hey I have a 2 part question. with a 50 hp mercury what is the proper gas/oil mix?

and second. I am having a problem with keeping the fuel going to the engine. I pump the bubble up and get fuel going and the engine runs fine. Then it just "runs out of gas" I have to repump the bubble. I tried all connections for tightness..and even replaced the bubble an line. Is there something in the tank itself to cause it to lose suction. or would it be the fuel pump?

Year and serial no would help.

its probably your fuel pump. and the oil mixture is 50:1. 16 oz to 6 gallons

is the vent open on your tank?

Check the o-rings on the fuel line end fittings too....
