Hey.. I Have a Old Merc Which I believe is a 1964.. Serial # 1964353 Model# 500E<br /> The motor lost spark, i took the distributer off and after thinking the terminals were dirty but they weren't that bad. I put it all back together and still no spark, Is the wire leading to the distributer supposed to get power or does the distrubuter/thing on top of it make the power for the coil to fire??
