Any spark tester should be adequate. For your motor get the 4 plug or recepticle tester. You don't need the 6 plug one.

You can test each plug individually. Try to see if the sparks are all the same strenght. (blue in color, with a good "snap")

I use an old plug with a crocodile type clip tied to the plug metal body with a jubilee clip, so you can then clip it to any metal part of your engine and then test each cylinder lead to see how strong the spark is, if any. As you should look for a big blue flash.
