I am giving a seminar on sunwear and would also like to convey the importance of eye safety while fishing in addition to sunwear performance.

I've seen a few guys in the office that now have compromised visual acuity as a result of an errant jig head, lure, hook, etc. but would like to hear of any specific experiences which has mistakenly caused injury.

Thanks in advance.
Kevin

Re: Fishing Eye Safety

I always wear my polarized shades. Not much protection from flying objects, but they have UV rating of 400, and they are polycaronate (sp?). Never leave the house without them...

Re: Fishing Eye Safety

www.directsafety.com sells their zTek glasses for around $3.50 a pair... that's not $350!

Great for firefighting/rescue work.... should be good for everything else.
