Trim Gauge reading Full Mariner 90

The trim on our Mariner 90 Yr 2000 model is stuck on the full bar.

Does anyone know where the sending unit is for this motor?

I found a suggestion about cleaning the battery terminals to rectify the fault, (unsuccessful)

dreamdays,Last Merc/Mariner sendig unit I replaced was under the motor,on the swivel bracket,between the two clamp brackets.It is moved by the upper tilt cylinder pin.
