Hello,<br /><br />I just bought my first engine a 1999 Johnson 90Hp model J90PLEEB.<br />But I need a wiring harness and a control box.<br />I am verry new to this so please give me some advice.<br /><br />I found a controlbox from omc with system check, ignition, trim...<br />Can somebody tell me if this will plug right in my wiring harness ?<br />Or where can I buy an original johnson control for a good price ?<br /><br />Thanks in advance.

Yes it will .There will be 3 plugs at the engine end,1-triangle plug with three pins and 2 retangle plugs one male and one female both with 8 pins each.Just match them up on the engine end.You will also have a 2 wire plug coming from your oil tank ,this plugs into the engine harness as well.You have to properly purge the air out of the oil line to make sure there is no interuption in oil to the engine.<br />The best thing to do is buy a engine manual. Get on from Bombardier they are far better then the after market ones.
