What should the water pressure readings be for a 1985 Mercury 115hp?<br /><br />I get no reading at idle climbing to about 13 psi at WOT. I think maybe the line or the gauge froze this winter and are acting up.

Should get 12 to 15 psi at WOT. At Idle you should see a little trickle coming out of the tell-tale, and it should be hot to the touch(you should only be able to touch the water for a few seconds). Sometimes crap will get into the lines but its rare. Diconnect guage hose and blow.

I have a '85 115, only Mariner and mine pees a stream all the time.<br />Also has pressure gauge and it will hold around 2 pounds at idle and 14 at WOT.
