I need a picture of the left side of the crankcase of a Mariner40 2002 model; made by Mercury - see my earlier post regarding the missing linkages - I believe I can make these up easily, even if it's only a temporary fix, if I can see a photo of the engine with remote controls fitted. I am attaching pictures of mine and you will see the two threaded holes where a linkage (or two) have been removed. I need to know whether the fulcrum is at the top of the linkage, giving a same-direction action on the throttle and gear levers or is it in between the two linkages, thereby reversing the action (converting a push to a pull, so to speak)
