M.Y. 2003, 225XL Mercury 4-stroke engine. Serail# OT750085.<br /><br />Since this engine has the pistons moving in a horizontal way, I wonder how the upper part of each cylinder gets lubricated. Oil which is sprayed against the pistons falls down on the lower part of the cylinders, resulting in less lubrication on the upper part of the cylinders.<br />Can someone tell me if my toughts are correct ?<br /><br />And if not how does the lubrication system works ?<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Edward
