help 40 mercury starter wiring diagram

i have a 40 horse mercury outboard on my bass tracker 1970's model.I need to find the wiring order for the ignition/starter i have 7 wires red,white,grey,brown,black,orange,yellow i have no clue where they go. if someone could email me some info on getting them in the correct place, it would b greatly appreciated email me at customroofsofmichigan@hotmail.com

sn=5252418 and the key switch thing has only 5 places for wires and are labelled by letters a,m,b,m,s pls help
