Hi,<br />A few years ago I installed new steering, just started to work on the boat again and see that the steering doesn't work properly.<br />If it does not move the motor more than 3/4 of the way then does that mean the cable is too short?<br />I can't figure out what to use to mount a steering cable to the motor properly either.<br />The motor has a ball end and it's too big so I just used a bolt for temporary.<br />The boat is a Thompson fiberglass 15'<br />If this steering is not usable what steering system should I buy?<br />Thank you<br />Terri
