94 Mercury 200xri RPM's

My 200xri runs about 4500 rpm's at WOT. Is this about right/too low?

Too Low. Needs to be around 5600 with avg. load.

Should state WOT RPM's on tag on transom clamp.

Is prop pitch the right one for your engine and load? This site (Iboat) has a decent prop spec check out! Hockey has ended here at Red Sox Nation. But NOW the BIG COW LUNKER BASS are movin in !!!

I thought the rpms were a little low. I will have to see what pitch prop I have. I will look around the iboat site for the correct pitch for my boat. Thanks for the info guys. Yep the Stars are out....the bass are coming in and I can't wait!!!
