Just took the boat out for the first time since I've owned it. Idled fine but would bog severely when hitting the throttle. Got the boat home and began to investigate. When running the boat with the hose hooked up, I'm fairly certain the bottom cylinder is not firing. I can take the cap wire off and it does not change the idle. I took the either of the top 2 cap wires off and it would die---leading me to believe the bottom cylinder is not firing. The lower cylinder does not get warm either.The plug shows no sign of firing. I can take hold the cap against the plug and it does spark but maybe not strong enough....Any help is appreciated.Dman

Switch two of the coils around, swap the top coil with the bottom coil. Now check to see if the top plug is firing. Hopefully it is just a bad coil. Not too expensive to replace.
