I just bought a 79 6 cyl 150 hp (cheap $300.00)from a friend and hung it on a old ski boat(about 800lbs of boat.) I had a hard time getting the motor started and then once I did it didn't want to go over about 10mph(I don't have the tac installed yet) - after about 10 minutes it died(along with the battery from my earlier starting problems) when I wiggled the throttle back and forth to see if I could gain some rpm. The fuel bulb seems solid and it seems to run okay in nuetral. I was told the carb was recently rebuilt and jetted for high altitude. Any ideas how to get this thing running right and where to start - I figured I'd chech the plugs and fuel pump first. Any ideas where to go from there?<br /><br />Thanks<br />Chris
