If anyone can help me here it would be appreciated, I do not have the benefit of having the serial numbers for either of these engines, however - I was wondering if I could marry the Powerhead off of a 1999-2000 3 Cylinder 40,(merc) with the Lower end from a 1997-50Hp unit?<br /><br />I have been desperately searching for a web site with model years and engine specifications. (I've ordered a few manual but they haven't arrived).<br /><br />Any thoughts would be appreciated.<br /><br />Thankyou
