any body know what color the wire is that should be connected to a trim & tilt gauge for my engine? I know my engine has the sending unit installed. I need to know what color wire to look for and where to look for it. thanks.

sullymate: Per my Clymer manual: Both the two wire and the three wire motors are the same. Blue for up and green for down at the motor - harness is blue w/white tracer and green w/white tracer.Hope this helps.Jim
