Hi! I can not find a reg.nbr. on my motor, and I can't find a partnumber on my carbs... My merc-dealer can't order parts without one of them.. Can anyone of you out there help me? It is a Mercury 70HP, 1982-model, 3cyl, 2 carbs. The numbers I can find on my carbs are on the top one: MERCARB 20-66, 380 3 and WM6-1, and the bottom one: MERCARB 20-66, 380 1 and WM6-3.

The parts I need are inlet needle seat gaskets.

Not sold separatly. What are they made of? Rubber or gasket material (paper)?
Can't you make new ones out of a sheet of paper or find an o-ring that fits?

From http://www.marinshopen.se/
I'd say your serial number is in this range:
70 5974683 - 6279959 1982 3 cyl
Go to this page and find this link in the list:
70 (3 CYL.) 70HP 3 CYL 1980-1983 5579017 thru 6428680 USA
Choose CARBURETOR ASSEMBLY
Exploded view of carb

Am I right?
There is a gasket set:
M13956200 GASKET SET @ $2.19 and you need two of them.

Check it out

I will take a look at this web page! Thanks a lot! But do you think it is possible to "make" new ones if I can find an o-ring that fits? Doesn't it have to be a 100% correct fit?

I think it is possible. But it has to be fuel resitant. Use o-rings from a different carb. Do you have a friendly dealer?
A hardwear store? An auto supply store?
Bring the old ones. Measure the inner diameter where they are in the carb body. Add 1 mm or so.
