i just recently changed the impeller on my uncle's 1996 mercury 150 on his flats boat. This is about my 5th time changing an impeller and i hav never had a problem before. the problem is, very little or no water at all streams out of the pee hole at idle, but as i throttle up, a steady stream flows. it doesnt seem to b running hot or n e thing, but i was jus a little curious/concerned about the low water pressure at idle. Can n e one give me sum answers? Thanks

Do you have any water coming out of the exaust?Check for any partial blockage of the telltale.
