Today I just dumped 800 bucks on a 1990 Mercury Mariner 20hp. I was told that it is set up for steering. It has tiller, electric start and pull start. I'm having my doubts whether this engine is setup for steering. I'm new to all this and I have no idea how to tell. The only reason I bought it is because the owner said that it is all setup for steering. Someone please tell me it is!

Steering attaches at the tilt tube and you are good.You will need the steering arm and the steering kit to length.
