Hi......Ok, here is the info I need......(history first) I have two boats, one has the 75hp merc, one has an ancient evinrude which has gone to the great o/b heaven....I want to put the 75hp merc on the other boat, but I need to know how hard this will be. I have called a few dealers they all want $500 plus to install it. Is that a reasonable price? I need new controls....can't find them on any Merc websites......anyone know an approx price on that? Also.....This motor doesn't have a telltale, i.e. no pee hole.....how do you tell if the motor is getting enough water thru it? Thanks!
