Bought an older 30 HP Mariner (1984 I think)- been sitting under a tree on an old boat for 5 years. Everything including compression looks good but no spark. Here's what I checked. Charge coil - meets resistance specs. Sensor Coil - meets resistance specs. Spark coil - meets resistance specs on both primary and secondary windings. All connections clean and tight. NO Spark!! Tested CDI pack using resistance checks in manual - seemed to be bad. Bought new pack ($$$ ouch! ), installed, thought I saw a weak spark on the first two pulls of the starter cord - after that, nothing. I've checked everything - all seems ok but no spark. Where am I going wrong ??Thanks for any help in advanceschuh
