Default 84 mariner dies above 2200 rpm 90hp

I have replace one switchbox because 2 and 5 were not firing. All of the plugs are now firing when grounded to the engine.I have replaced the fuel hoses back to the tank. I have rebuild the fuel pump and new floats and needle and seats.I have checked the resistance of the stator with the following results red or red/wh to ground 143 ohms blue or blue/wh to groud 6350 ohms. Bias resistance to ground 13500 ohms and 14500 ohms. I have 3-4 psi pressure when cranking on the fuel pump. The timing is 1 degree at cranking and 20 degrees at WOT. All of the coils check ok with resistance. The stator wires to the rectifier read 0.8 ohms. Where do i go from here.

Get youself a Direct Voltage Adapter (DVA available from Merc for about $60), or a Peak Reading Adapter, and check the voltage coming from the red wires to ground.. Those are the high speed stator wires, and should be around 50 volts at cranking speed.. According to mercury, the ohm's tests are really not usually helpful in finding faults with their ignition systems. They'd rather do voltage output tests, and then use the Ohms tests to confirm a problem..Scott..
