I am a newbie on this forum, so play nice with me.<br />Just purchased a boat from a feller that I don't know. He has been using Pennzoil synthetic oil.<br />The engine is a 1990 ProV 150. Haven't got a clue how many hours, neither did he.<br />I have checked compression, it is perfect. <br />Carbs are being overhauled as I write this. Electronics are good. Plenty of fire. <br />Bottom carb is not getting fuel to 2 cylinders. <br />Had Autolite plugs. They have been changed to NGK's<br />Was told to use only Mercury, OMC or Yamaha oil. <br />"Whew Wee it is expensive. "<br />Any comments from the enlightened?
