Convert Mariner 40 2 stroke to electric start

i have just brought a boat with the above engine on and am wondering how easy and cheap it would be to convert to electric start, does anybody know

afraid more info is required. provide the year

of mfg. and serial number and we'll try to help.

Thanks for the quick reply, will have a look for the plate tonight, for the serial number, dont know the year, but i guess it would be on the plate. thanks

Hello, cant find a plate. the model is a 40m and it is prob maybe an 1984 build, hope this helps
