Can you please tell me the gas/oil ratio for a

1972, 65 HP, Mercury outboard motor?

Be glad to, Boat girl.

You want a 50:1 gas to oil ratio. The most common way to get this (or close enough) is to put 1 pint of TC-W3 outboard oil into a standard, 6 gallon tank and fill it with 6 gallons of unleaded regular gas.

Avoid gas with alcohol in it.

50.1 is right use TCW3 oil. Remember putting alcohol in can give you gas

& a headache
