Hello there I'm new at boating....I have a Mercury 75 outboard...don't know what year just Serial # 6503020....Engine idles rough and skips...it kind of skips when throttle is up...when I throttle up to full and bring back to idle engine stalls out....what could be the problem?
Buy A MANUAL (a good merc dealer should be able o tell you the year of your motor)missing can be caused by lots of things so do the following:Check compression,check spark,clean & set up carbs/float level etc also check needles & seats are closing properly.New plugs & synchronize carbs/ignition the manual will tell you how.Should solve your probs.good luck
