Same as a brand new engine. No full power starts, 1st 5 hrs and max RPM ~ 3500 to 4000. Short periods of 4000 or so and then reduce power for about 5 minutes. Double oil for 1st 10 to 20 hours. You get the idea ... follow your owners manual.
It sucked a reed into the engine. I don't know that there is anything that i could do to prevent it from happening again. I think that that is kind of a fluke thing. I do plan on breaking it in right.
