I have a mercury iekhaefer 7.5 motor Serial number 2813717 that was given to me by my brother in law. It was stored for appx. 15 years and i will take it back west to do some crappie fishing in the San Diego lakes. The motor was ran dry before storage.I am looking for some tips on the model year, re starting this motor and shop manuals.All help would be appreciated.

well how long did it sitfirst spray some fogging agent into the cylinder at the plug let it sit for about 120 minutes turn the flywheel change the impeller maybe the water pump change the lower unit oil new plugs and gas first gallon richer on oil fire it up
