I'd like to know what is the part number of -79

40 hp Mercury's stator, the serial number of the

Merc is: 9241265.

I tried that earlier, but the Partsexpress didn't

recognize the serial number?? Neither does any

other webpage? Are the models sold in Europe

any different or with different serialnumbers?

Lets makes sure we are on the same page. Is it a 4 or a 40 horsepower engine? How many cylinders? Merc years ago always added a zero.

Yes, it is the one with 40 horsepower.

The part number for the stator is 339-5566A5 which is no longer available.

Try here for aftermarket.

Yes, the ser no's are different in USA, Australia, Europe and Canada.

What type of cowling does it have ? and what colour stripes ??
