I'd like to know what is the part number of -7940 hp Mercury's stator, the serial number of theMerc is: 9241265.

I tried that earlier, but the Partsexpress didn'trecognize the serial number?? Neither does anyother webpage? Are the models sold in Europeany different or with different serialnumbers?

Lets makes sure we are on the same page. Is it a 4 or a 40 horsepower engine? How many cylinders? Merc years ago always added a zero.

The part number for the stator is 339-5566A5 which is no longer available.Try here for aftermarket. Stator

HankoYes, the ser no's are different in USA, Australia, Europe and Canada.What type of cowling does it have ? and what colour stripes ??
