Fuel tank parts, old Mercury vacuum-type remote tank

I have an orginal fuel tank (vacuum system) for my 1956 Mercury Mark 55E that I'm restoring. Are there fuel tank parts available? I.e., guage to tank gasket and the ball check valve? Thanks

Bob Grubb at www.oldmercs.com carries a bunch of parts for those motors. I see them on ebay from time to time also. Good luck, Marty...

MartyTn, I've been rebuilding a Maer 55E, but I've pretty much got all of the parts that I need collected now, I just thought that I'd "tune up" the fuel tank a little.
