Does that mean I should sell my 25 hour 96 75hp force before then. What could I expect to sell this engine for its the force (made by mercury.) I would think they would come out with a retro fit oil injection for my engine.

What it means is he got you running scared. A little creative talking can sometimes make an imediate sale for him.

What it means is he himself as a dealer can not sell new motors that do not meet the EPA requirements.

What it means is run your current motor and be happy, but if, and when you go looking for a brand new motor you will have to choose a new 4 stroke or one of the few high pressure direct injection (Yamaha)2 stroke motors.

Sounds like this dealer is either ignorant or trying to sell you a new motor for no reason. Take good care of that Force, and you'll probably be running it well beyond 2005. :)
