This is a tried and true engine sterndrive package.But as with any used item you need to make sure things are up to snuff.Your seller should allow you to check the gear and motor oil for water contamination.Any milkiness in either should raise a ?.I don't know the climate you are in but freeze damage may be something to beware of.By all means put this thing on the water and run it hard before you lay down.
