hello All,<br /><br />I am new to this and need as much tech info on a Merc 800 6 cylinder. I believe it to be a 1961. I want to find out where the ID is located, if it is two stroke or four, and what the ful mixture is.<br /><br />Thanks James

Yours is either a 1960 or 1961 80 hp. I believe it should run a 50:1 fuel/oil mix. Not certain where the I.D. plate is on that motor...but they're usually found on the transom bracket.<br /><br />Walt
