Default 28hp mariner what type of ignition does it have?

hi guys, i have a 28hp jap mariner serial 664-59374. could anyone please tell me what type of igntion it has? just so as i can locate spares in advance of any probs. grateful for any help.

You could try www.rapair.com, they build some new stuff, repair just about any outboard cdi systems,and will repair your cid in some cases. I have used there parts for about 12 years without any problems.

Go to Mercurymarinepartsexpress.com or Go to go Google.com Key Word Mercury Marine Incase u didnt know Mercury Owns Mariner I hop this will help u let me know

Mercury doesn't own Mariner, Mercury IS Mariner. Same motors, same CID/CC, etc.Craig

tried merc marine but engine too old to search with serial # and i am in the uk so no zip code to use either. rapair site was unavailable. on the plus side the swedish site marinshoppen were very helpful and it appears that they stock many parts for this model. thanks for your help anyway guys.
