mailman---i had the same problem with my mariner, i changed plugsnew fuel pump still had problem,cleaned carb twice,new fuel pump but same problem. red sky & walt suggested checking carb. jets, i changed the high speed fixed jet and cured the problem, thjanks to them my motor was saved from a watery grave.---HALFBREED---AKA BOB WILLIAMS
