i have a 1981 merc mariner i was going over a lake at 3/4 throttle when it bogged way down to just abouve idle. i changed the plugs and it still boggs down . a big loss of power at 3/4 throttle any help would be great. the machanics are very exspensive.
Does the fuel bulb pump up tight? If so, check it when it boggs down and see if it is sucked in. If it is then it is bad and needs replaced. To up and do it all at once sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me. Just my .02 worth.
